APF5000 liquid prevents silica-based scale formation by dispersing colloidal silica, thus preventing magnesium silicate scale formation at heat transfer surfaces.
Acrylic Terpolymer Silica Magnesium Silicaten Scale Inhibitor APF5000 liquid exhibits excellent thermal and chemical stability and very good stability in the presence of hypochlorite. It contains no phosphorus, making its use acceptable where legislation requires that discharge waters contain low or no phosphorus. It can be formulated at any pH without degradation.
