ATBS Monomer AP3121G Granule

AP3121G is sulfonic acid acrylic monomer in granular form. The granular product reduces dust emissions resulting in a cleaner working environment, better worker safety and reduced plant maintenance. AP3121G does not agglomerate and is easy to transport. As AP3121G granulation is a post-reaction step, the ATBS monomer chemistry remains unchanged.

ATBS Sodium Salt AP3122 Liquid

AP3122 is sulfonic acid acrylic monomer in aqueous solution. It is produced by treating ATBS monomer with 50% sodium salt.

ATBS Monomer And ATBS Sodium Salt are widely used in water treatment, acrylic fiber, oilfield, latex and adhesive, emulsion coatings, personal care and medical and construction applications.

ATBS Monomer And ATBS Sodium Salt for low molecular weight polymer (AP3121G Granule and AP3122 Liquid) are especially effective in the following applications:

  • Water Treatment Applications: Polymers made of AP 3121G and AP3122 are used to inhibit calcium, magnesium and silica scale in cooling towers, boiler, air washers and gas scrubbers. They are also widely used for corrosion control, as dispersants for silt and iron oxides.
  • Acrylic Fiber Applications: AP3121G Granule and AP3122 Liquid are able to generate or enhance the hydrolytic stability of polymers, imparting a number of enhanced performance capabilities of textile and acrylic fiber. This includes: Improved dye receptivity, richer color, enhanced moisture absorbency, improved tensile strength and static resistance. They are padded onto cotton or starch to increase water absorbency
  • Latex and Adhesive Applications: AP3121G Granule and AP3122 Liquid are field-proven to achieve exceptional latex stability in high-performance latex coatings. The dispersion of solids in aqueous media is colloidally stable, improving the preparation of high solids emulsions. It improves the thermal and mechanical properties of adhesives, and increases the adhesive strength of pressure-sensitive adhesive formulations. Lower molecular weight polymers containing ATBS Monomer And ATBS Sodium Salt are especially effective dispersants for highly polar materials.
